What Would A Production Manager At A Publishing Company Be Responsible For?
I have an interview for this position with a christian publishing company. It required good organizational skills and the ability to work well with others, as well as assist sales manager with purchase orders and customer service (according to the ad). Does this sound like general gopher position or has anyone done anything similar to production managing?
I have to admit I’m a bit apprehensive being a non-churchgoer and really kind of expect it to hinder me. They seem to have a customer base made primarily of church pastors and such and I’m not sure I would find it to my liking.
Any advice or comments are appreciated……..

For general career info: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search ‘Industrial Production Managers’, ‘Advertising’ or such.http://www.wikipedia.org may have more info albeit Not for professional or school research. One can just search ‘production management’ or such.
It could be to one’s advantage to do some reading about christianity and the basics of the bible just to feel more prepared for the interview even though the interview should be mostly about the job tasks and responsibilities as well as the interviewee’s job experience and qualifications
