The Oppening video plays with the oack and original ECW Music this time and we have no pyro oppening to the show and Vince McMahon is in the ring.
Vince McMahon welcomes us to Extreme Championship Wrestling and says that he has came down to the ring to announce that General Manager Tiffany Terrel has resigned due to personal reasons.He then says that he came down here to announce the new General Manager of ECW.Vince says that this new GM has made it clear he wants to make this the best brand in WWE Today.Vince says that the New General Manger is Abraham Washington.Washington’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring.
Washington gets into the ring and tells the fans to shut their mouths as a real hero is in the ring.The Fans boo him loudly for this.Washington thanks Vince for the introduction.The Abraham says that he doesn’t really need an introduction,he is the greatest,smartes,best looking guy around and he is now in control of his own brand and plans to make it the best there is.Abraham thanks the fans and leaves the ring.
Match 1-Christian and Shelton Benjamin defeat Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson
Backstage Abraham Washington is with Courtney.Abraham says that his first duty as GM is to announce that there will be an 8 Man Tournament to determine who is the Number One Contender for the ECW Championship against Yoshi Tatsu.Abraham says that the first two matches are tonight and we will see Zack Ryder against The Hurricane and William Regal against Tommy Dreamer.
A Video is played hyping SmackDown! this week and the main event will be new World Champion John Cena against CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Match 2-Paul Burchill and Katie Lea Burchill defeated Tyler Reks and Rosa Mendes

Backstage we are with The Ruthless Roundtable.Regal says that he will win his match with Dreamer tonight and soon become new ECW Champion.
Match 3-Zack Ryder defeats The Hurricane
We have a Raw Rebound showing the whole Randy Orton/Cody Rhodes Title change situation.
We see Tommy Dreamer and William Regal walking backstage
Match 4-Tommy Dreamer defeats William Regal
After the match the Ruthless Roundtable attack Tommy Dreamer but Shelton Benjamin and Christian come down and make the save.

I like it, but I think it will be even better if Paul Heyman became the new GM, that way ECW will eventually become extreme again.
