Any career SHOULD START WITH GOOD SPELLING!!!
Concentration is a good place to start. Concentrate on WHAT it is YOU would like to accomplish. Sales is a great way to start because you learn about people and their needs.
Marketing people will then go out to create NEEDS for people. A little bit different, but still within the same realm.
SERVE OTHERS, and THEY WILL SERVE YOU!

There’s no rule about where you “should” start, but you’ll learn things by selling that you won’t learn in any other way. While marketing gets products and services “out there” it doesn’t necessarily get them “sold.” Understanding what makes customers buy or not buy can help you market better; selling is a very good way to learn about what customers find objectionable and figuring out how to overcome those objections–that’s why it’s such a highly valued skill.
Hope this helps!
