Should I Mail A Thank You Note To The Leasing Manager Of The Apartment After I Sign The Lease?

Are renters supposed to do that?
Keep in mind, this is not the realtor. I did not have a realtor. I did the apartment hunting all on my own, and the only contact I had with the leasing manager was when I sat down and signed the lease.

Not typical. She made money off of leasing the unit to you, that is thank you enough, but if you wanted to it is a nice gesture.

Why not? But be careful you don’t send the wrong message.
But really, you can best show your thanks by always paying rent one day early, not causing any grief and always saying hello with a smile.

It’s not expected but would be a nice gesture. I say go for it!
