I Have An 07 Malibu, The Front Pads Have Been Completey Worn Down, Should I Involve The Safety Board?
- i have an 07 malibu whicht i bough at 35,000 km, the brakes were giving me problems.
- i took it back to dealer and spoke to used car manager, he refused to do anything about it.
- i go back to service and get brakes diagnosed, they machine rotors and drums.
- but still the brake gives me problems ( the brakes pulsate and the whole car pulsates dangerously
- its been 9 month and the car has been doingt the same thing,
- i talked to the service manager, he looked at the car 5 times, and claims there is nothing wrong.
- in the end,he claims the tires are the problem.
- but offers to change the rotors
- brand new rotors are on the car, but still i have the same problem. when i came to pick uo the car i ask the service advisor ( were the brake pads okay? , he says(he hesistates , and says yes they were).
- im not satisfied, so i go to another dealer and the manufacturer of tires, and they tell me that the cause of vibration are brakes, and tires are okay and the dealer also says that the brakes pads had 4mm of thickness, in which a week ago , my dealer said they were okay.
- i take the car back to my dealer to speak with service manager about brakes, he becomes rude ( happened 5 times), and tells me to leave
- i call gm, tell them about issue, but they claim tha the dealer is always right ( i called them 6 times and i have 6 cases)
should i involve the safety board, government organization or take legal action?
plz help
