Explorer.exe Is Not Running And When I Run It It Stops After 2 Seconds?

i try to run it manually and it won’t work. i can access my programs through the task manager and everything runs good. i deleted an antivirus program that was a virus, but it keeps coming back. i ran norton and it didn’t find anything wrong. can ne 1 help me.

If u have a Windows bootable cd , use it to repair your Windows installation . Dont worry abt ur stored progrms , repairing windows will not affect them . If u have SP you will need to reinstall it bef some programs like ,if it is installed .ie7 + or WMP 10 + can run .
& that Anti Virus , did u delete it or uninstall it ?
If u uninstall it still it is coming back try some programs like Tune Up utility to remove the traces of that software . U can find similar types of software like Tune Up by Google search .
Alternatively , a bit risky (not recommended if r a novice) go to run cmd box type regedit .
a window opens , click File menu press export & back up ur registry . U will need it if anything goes wrong in the following steps.
Now click Edit menu , Click Find & type the name of the Antivirus u deleted . Delete all keys that contains the name of ur AV .
I recomend u not to perform the above step instead use Tune up utillity to do it for u .
Also , type msconfig in the Run cmd box , then in the window that opens , type Start up, tab then in the list find the name of ur AV , if it is there , & uncheck the corresponding box - this will stop it from loading at Start up of ur System .
