Can’t Delete Internet Download Manager?

I accidentally downloaded internet download manager and I want to delete it badly. It stops me from downloading anything because it asks me for the serial number when I didn’t register for the program. I tried to delete the program like any regular program, but when I go to control panel, I can’t find the program there.

Internet Download Manager should appear in your list of installed programs. I remember Internet Download Manager is actually abbreviated to “IDE” in its installation.
Go to the control panel > Add or Remove programs > look for IDE, select it and press the remove button.
If you cannot find it, try re-installing (overwrite) it. (You might have deleted some files trying to remove it.)
Try the Free Download Manager instead. It works great and it’s free !
