Keep in mind, this is not the realtor. I did not have a realtor. I did the apartment hunting all on my own, and the only contact I had with the leasing manager was when I sat down and signed the lease.
How Do I Make My Laptop Wireless?
I have AT&T DSL (wired through a DSL modem) on my desktop. My daughter just got a new Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. I’m clueless about laptops/WIFI/hot spots, etc. I know that the DSL that I have on my desktop includes home networking. We would like to connect the laptop to the DSL that we already have in the home.
So far, what I have learned is that I need a “card” of some sort and a wireless router. These are my main questions;
1) Under >Control Panel>Hardware and sound>Device Manager>Network adapters it lists-
Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN Mini-Card
and
Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller
Is one of those the ‘card’ that I need? If not, what kind of card is it? Where do I get it? Through AT&T? Dell?
2) Will any wireless router work? Does it need to be compatible with AT&T DSL or are they all compatible? What is the best type/brand etc to get?

When Downloading Software For A Blackberry 8800, How Do I Get The Desktop Manager?
I know longer have access to the CD that came with my BB, but I need to download the software on another computer. I keep downloading what I believe is everything I need, but always just end up with the Device Manager only, not the Desktop Manager as well.

What Can I Do About My 16 Year Old’s Manager Cussing And Yelling At Him?
My 16 year old son has a part time job at a pizza place in our small town. The manager is 26 years old and most other employees are her age or older. She constantly yells and cusses at him. She won’t do this to the others and she picks on him constantly to do the work that she won’t tell the others to do. I want to go over there or make him walk out, but he tells me that he wants to try a little longer. What are my options and do I have a legal ground to stand on?
